Drawing update

Towards the end of 2016, one of my friends asked me what I've been drawing lately. The answer was 'nothing'. Because I just haven't been feeling it at all. I tried to get back into drawing but it's so difficult and I don't know why I'm having a block.

Might be lack of inspiration, lack of concentration, and lack of motivation. Every night when I come home I just want to wind down by listening to music, watching a few videos on Youtube, and scroll through Reddit. I then have dinner, go for a run, have a shower, and go to bed. I get home at 7pm and go to sleep at around 11pm. There's not that much time in between for me to do other things anymore (like read, watch TV, watch anime, draw, sew etc.) because I'm so tired when I get home. My weekends are unexpectedly filled with cleaning and trying to destress from the past week.

Here's some progress pictures of a sketch from December. I'd like to be able to finish at least one sketch soon.

(For the first time this year, I felt like sketching something... and it came at 2am. I hope those terrible rumours about Lu-ge aren't true and that he takes some time to recover well). 

[10/10/14 edit]: So the rumours were not baseless. I hope Luhan recovers well and is able to progress with his career. EXO-M was the first group I followed from debut. What's going to happen next? Is EXO-M going to merge into EXO-K and permanently be EXO? Or will K members join M whilst doing promotions?

My first and only drawing of 2013.

I used to be so ranking and point hungry on pixiv and other sites... I had to see myself on the rankings tables (my gosh, Jin and I used to talk about getting enough points to be on DR. I think he did manage to get in the top 100 and I stopped drawing haha). It feels better to draw because I feel like it.

I need to focus on studying hard and filling in my applications~! Wish me luck <3

Finally, an art-related WIP

I've started colouring this WIP again from ages and ages ago. I haven't drawn anything at all this year. I think it's because I stopped for most of last year and now I can't find the motivation to pick it up again. My entire 2013 folder is MT. TRULY EMPTY. Hopefully I can put this in it (but in reality, it belongs in the 2010 folder).

Life is going at me too fast these days... but yeah, I went to TonyMoly last week and yesterday and picked up more items. That post will be coming very soon in the near future.

Dotting stars

I felt like dotting some stars. I'm not sure why there is such a decline in quality when I open my file as a jpg and when I view it as a submission. I've seen this happen quite a lot to my pieces. Not sure if it's because I keep on converting between SAI and PSD files on SAI and Photoshop. This happens even if I do not resize my pictures (i.e. this picture).

Going to hang out with Chris tomorrow and avoid temperatures of 36-39 degrees by staying in strictly air conditioned buildings. Yay.

 My package also arrived today! I'll write about it another time:)

Love sick

Constant artblock! I haven't drawn in so long, my anatomy is going backwards and getting worse and worse... if that's possible. I did a rough one of Exit Tune's new Vocaloid 3 Mayu yesterday. I love that she's a yandere goth loli. She even has an axe covered with sweet loli bows:DD

Does anyone think her design is really similar to Namine Ritsu's? Or is it just me?

Seriously, it took me ages to figure out what was happening in SAI. I thought that my canvas size was displayed on the side, and I was wondering why every time I did a short-cut for changing sizes, it wasn't displayed at the side. Turns out I was looking at opacity the entire time orz. Fail much...? I'd like to draw more, but it's not coming to me. Maybe after I finish playing the last route of 999, Kirby Mass Attack, and finishing off PKMN White?

I've been feeling really love sick recently. Not sure how though because it doesn't make sense. But I'm feeling it. My layyydehhhh, baybehhh dunnn creyyyy x 1000 EXO feels.

My birthday is coming up this weekend! I gave a huge shopping list for my friend in HK. Haha, so that's where the money from my new job is going huh.

I'd also like to do a mass post of my artbook collection and all the nice makeup I've accumulated in 2012.

Stress-relief sketch for the amazing Itemilicious~ except, like I have zero imagination and put her OC Aya back in the same situation I referenced her from. I read an interesting colouring tutorial, so the pencil and paper sketch ended up being crappily lined and then coloured... along with a dodgy looking background-___-;;

Free sketches and SuJu SS4 tickets

I got some really beautiful free sketches from itemilicious and superstarpanou who were doing the '10 free sketches' thing. Don't know why, but theOtaku links are not working so I can't link Temi's beautiful sketches here... likewise, for Panou's, the dA html code says it's broken!! WHY *flips table*

These girls are so talented and kind ;u; I really want to do the sketches thing as well, but I don't think I can get 10 people to request, and I'm constantly busy and in an art-blocked state.

BUT today-- my ticket and Maryn's ticket to Super Show 4 in Sydney arrived in the mail. Pew pew ~ yeahhhh.

I'm so sleepy at the moment... actually I'm sleepy all the time. I always feel like I haven't done much in a day and I've probably been slacking off again. Back to typing notes and doing research-____-

Nov 2010/ March 2012

Looks like I draw more shota now:D I haven't drawn any guys for over a year.

This year is already getting stressful *rolls on floor* So many deadlines homg.

Brain dead

Over loaded with information (and boredom...) so I spent two hours organising my cosplay wardrobe, prints from friends at cons, vacuuming, sewing back buttons onto my jacket etc. 

A quick doodle of Seiga. All the TD characters are evil because they gang up on you D: SAI WRRRRYY CORRUPT FILE. Oh well. I knew she was corrupted. [edit] It's fixed now! Probably coz my net was wonky that day.
