Boxing Day 2016 Mini Haul (Benefit Pinky Galore and Revlon Cream Blush)

I can't recall ever being out to Boxing Day sales before. There are usually too many people fighting over subpar sales. However, this year, I was at home and my mum suggested we go window shopping on Christmas Eve.

I saw the Benefit sets on sale at Myer and had a good think about whether or not I wanted to purchase one over Christmas. I decided I did want to buy something (I love Dandelion) and went shopping on Boxing Day. I'm so glad I didn't go to the shops in the city as I'm sure it would have been a bloodbath. My dad dropped my mum and I off at the shopping centre at 9am. Even though the shops opened at 8am, there still weren't that many people when we arrived.

I ended up picking up Pinky Galore, a Benefit Christmas set and a deeply discounted Revlon Cream Blush. As you can see, there is a sticker that says the set is $79 with a $140 value. I purchased the set at $55 (30% discount). Still cut that I missed out on the Leap Year $29 sale at Benefit, but this set fills that empty hole in my heart as I finally get to try Benetint!

New Clothes, Shoes, and a Bag from August to October (Liz Lisa, Marcs, Lolita/Himekaji)

Yes, so now that I discovered I have a disposable income, I've decided to put some of that money towards Liz Lisa items. I have loved their designs and clothes since I first opened the December 2007 edition of Popteen.

Here is my shopping adventure for non-makeup/non-skincare related items from August - October 2016.

I went to the celebration of a new service line at an accounting firm that I was previously with and that Cathy now works at. I don't know what we were talking about, but she said that she had some Liz Lisa clothes she was going to try and sell. I told her I really liked Liz Lisa stuff but didn't have any, but I think I like the style as I frequently wear the knock off pieces Holly gave me in 2014. Being a generous person, Cathy said she will give them all to me ;u;

So on the day Rayray, Cathy, and I went handbag shopping I went over to Cathy's house to pick the clothes I wanted. Many, many years ago, Cathy said she also had a pair of white rocking horse shoes she didn't want. Score! I gave her a pair of my Amo lashes that she really liked seeing me wear.

Birthday Presents: Bobbi Brown and Urban Decay

A late birthday present I received from Lydia. I'm so touched that she wanted to get me a present for my birthday last year. She gave it to me when we met up at the end of February.

M.A.C Lipsticks Mini Haul!

Lydia 'volunteered' to help me buy some M.A.C lipsticks when she went to visit Hawaii... back in May/June 2015. She has since decided to go back to visit yet again in December 2015 and I was wondering whether or not I should ask her to buy a few more lipsticks for me (I have my eyes on Velvet Teddy and Morange aarrggghh). But I didn't as I already have quite a few lipsticks.

Previously, I did not really have any M.A.C items except for two lipsticks from the 90's that don't exist in the current line. They are so old that the packaging is different. Anyway, I was really glad I got the colours I got.

Rose Rose Shop Neulii Samples

A few weeks ago, Rose Rose Shop announced that they were releasing a new skincare line called Neulii. You can get free samples if you message them on Facebook, or through your orders with them. They are giving out ten samples (five of each type of serum) per request. I think that's a great way to promote your new line. Everyone loves free samples.

There are five types of serums:

1. Aloe BHA Soothing Serum
2. AHA VITA Brightening Serum
3. Tea Tree BHA Blemish Control Serum
4. Snail Bee Anti-Wrinkle Serum
5. Green Tea BHA Pore Tightening Serum

I got my package yesterday!

Neulii will keep your skin young and beautiful as a baby's every time, all the time.

ibuybeauti Haul and Review

I'm pretty sure this is the last of my backlog hauls. This was the first time I purchased from ibuybeauti and I had a good experience with them. I had been lusting after Innisfree lipsticks for so long. I gave one to my mum for her birthday in 2014 and she really liked it. Ever since then, I had been keeping an eye out for the Creammellow lipsticks. Unfortunately, I wasn't able to swatch them in store in Hong Kong or Singapore when I went in early 2015.

Thesis pressure and stress was building up... so I thought I'd treat myself to some lipsticks in September 2015. ibuybeauti  has some good deals and carries products that other stores do not.

Sasa haul and review #2

Okay, I thought I was done with my backlogs of hauls but there's still one more after this one! I ordered from Sasa in September 2015 for a second time because I was running out of my favourite sunscreen. Lo and behold, Sasa was having a sale on the sunscreen where if you buy one, you get the second one 40% off! I also thought I was running out of my Kose Whitening Cleansing Oil back then... it's February and I'm still using it whoops.

Not only that, they were having a free shipping promotion if you spend over 50AUD. I didn't think I was going to be able to buy so much sunscreen so I spent a few days asking around the office and asking my friends if they wanted to buy things with me. I finally bit the bullet and decided I'll just suck up the shipping fee... but when I went to check out with only spending $44, I did not get charged for shipping:D

Ordered: 16/9/15
Shipped: 19/9/15
Received: 23/9/15

Thank you for covering up my address Ace.

Innisfreeworld haul #2 all of the It's Real Squeeze Mask mini review

Still going through the backlog of my hauls... this is semi-recent. Innisfree had another 10 +10 mask sale in January 2016. I have depleted my current mask stash enough so I decided it was time to order again.

I purchased 120 masks at around 86c (AUD) per mask. In the month of January, Innisfree was running a free shipping promotion if you purchase over 50USD.

Hurray for free DHL shipping! Innisfree used to ship via EMS but I've had a better (and quicker) experience with DHL. DHL also has a better tracking system than EMS imo. Thank you to my brother who signed for the package.

Ordered: 5/1/16
Shipped: 7/1/16
Received: 11/1/16

I spent 72USD, which was equivalent to 104.21AUD.

Priceline 40% off Makeup Sale; Australis Velourlips and Maybelline 910 Shocking Coral Review

Going through my backlog hauls... Priceline has been having regular 40% off sales for makeup, skincare, haircare, and fragrances since 2013. I was super excited for this makeup sale in November 2015 because I had been swatching and eyeing the Maybelline Color Sensation lipstick in 910 Shocking Coral since September.

Australis had also recently released their mini Velourlips set. I had been wanting these on and off and swatching them periodically. I decided to just pick up the Brights set as a treat on the day.

Jolse Haul and Review #5

I have quite a few backlog 'hauls' to go through. I'll also start writing more reviews. This mini package was purchased in October 2015.

Ordered: 19/10/15
Shipped: 21/10/15
Received: 10/11/15

Jolse haul and review #4

Man, I've actually purchased more times from Jose than I thought I have. Here is my fourth purchase from them back from May 2015.

Ordered: 31/5/15
Shipped: 2/6/15
Received: 12/6/15

I made this purchase mainly for the eye makeup remover. Priceline hadn't had their 40% off sale for a while and I had run out of all my remover:( I had to pick up something else in order to use my credit points. I had really liked the scent of the Etude House 'Bite Me' perfume when I smelled it in store in Hong Kong last year. I decided to add this in as a TREAT YO SELF gift heh.

eopenmarket Lucky Box Haul and Review (June 2015)

Just a quick review for the eopenmarket Lucky Box. It is now back in stock.

I ordered two to test my luck. During the month of June, all new members received a $3 coupon that could be redeemed with purchases over $10. Shipping is free (in other words, it's already calculated into the price of the products).

My order:
Lucky Box x 2 = $ 8.80 USD x 2
                           - $3 coupon

= $14.60USD
This was equivalent to around $19AUD at the time.

Ordered: 28/6/15
Shipped: 29/6/15
Received: 9/7/15 (eight business days)

Innisfreeworld Haul and Review aka ALL THE MASKS FROM INNISFREE + current mask collection

I am becoming a sheet mask addict. No, really. I have purchased over 200 masks this year. My current collection is a little embarrassing. There's so much I can't even fit them all into my fridge anymore. They live in two boxes on my bedroom floor. This is a super expensive habit, but I'm not about to break it because sheet masks just feel so good, and I can get immediate effects. My skin hasn't been flakey since I've been faithful to these masks.

What triggered this massive haul? A 10 + 10 sheet mask deal on Innisfree World. They have had this deal a few times before, but on 1st of May, I finally caved in and used up my new membership benefit (which was free shipping). I signed myself up to the website in March to get the free Green Tea Kit which I have also included in my overall collective mask haul photo.

I won't go on and on about the crappy Australian Dollar exchange rate again, but I thought this deal was better than the one in April. I was able to qualify for some freebies whilst only spending $60 USD (which was around $79AUD). Each mask came out at around 80c AUD which is a fantastic deal. Asking my dad to buy me a box of My Beauty Diary from Sasa in Hong Kong is around the same price, but he doesn't have to pack it in his luggage, and I can buy as many as a I want.

I ordered 100 masks... I got at least five of each of the 16 varieties, and seven of the ones which appealed to me the most (mainly the fruit varieties and the lotiony type ones).

Ordered: 1/5/15 (Friday night)
Shipped: 5/5/15 (Tuesday)
Received: 11/5/15 (The following Monday)

It was annoying because no one could help me sign for the package and pick it up-- I thought it was such a waste of EMS because I pretty much ended up waiting for 2 weeks to get it anyway. My mum was a champ and picked it up for me on Thursday when she went to get her car from smash repairs. Thank you mum! Otherwise I would have had to pick it up on Saturday, or the post office would have returned it to the sender.

An official Innisfree box.

RoseRoseShop Haul and Review #2

Wow, so many haul posts and so little review and drawing posts. It looks like all I ever do is spend, spend, spend (but it's not, I promise)! I like reading haul posts the most so it makes sense that I enjoy writing them because they make me reflect on the things I have. I feel a sense of contentment when I actually use up everything I purchased.

My Mizon 8% AHA Peeling Serum ran out right before I went overseas in January. I really enjoyed using it, and I'm glad RoseRoseShop still had their free shipping for Mizon promotion going on!

The customer service at RRS is so nice. This is only the second time I've purchased from them, but they responded to messages very quickly and professionally. I do know that customer service can be very hit or miss, but I was satisfied with the customer service I received this time.

Ordered: 16/3/15
Shipped: 18/3/15
Received: 8/4/15
TOTAL = 15 business days

Here is what I ordered:

Massive haul from Singapore, Taiwan, and Hong Kong (Etude House, Skinfood, Hada Labo, Nature Republic, 3CE, CLIO, My Scheming, My Beauty Diary, FaceQ, Naruko)

The Australian dollar is terrible at the moment, but I still managed to shop happily on an overseas trip. I truly think I would have been less restrained if the dollar had been better. Here are the things I purchased!

Skincare and haircare part of my haul! Most of this came from Taiwan and Hong Kong.

Combined haul: Nature Republic, Skinfood, Etude House, Innisfree, Banila Co

Some goodies I picked up from a physical store in Sydney last year! These were from three separate trips in August and September last year.

Trip 1

1. Nature Republic 92% Aloe Vera Soothing Gel x 2 (two for $10)
2. Innisfree Soybean Energy Essence x 2 (20c each)
3. Skinfood Premium Lettuce & Cucumber Watery Soothing Pack x2 (20c each)
4. Skinfood Egg White Pore Hard Foam x 1 (20c)

It came in an Aritaum bag!

Rose Rose Shop Haul and Review #1

I'm sure most of you have heard of Rose Rose Shop (RRS). It took me over year to finally convince myself to buy something from them because of their higher shipping costs. Even though their product prices are often lower than other stores, the cost of shipping really detracts from their attractive prices.

Anyhow, RRS had and currently still have a free shipping option for all Mizon items. You just have to pay $2.50 USD for a tracking number. I had previously tried a tube of the Mizon Blemish Mark-X and really liked it and saw that it was going for a very good price at RRS. I also really wanted to try the 8% AHA Peeling Serum, and off to RRS I went.

Paid: 09/12/2014
Payment Received: 09/22/2014
Shipped: 09/26/2014
Received: 7/10/2014

It took around two weeks (10 working days) for my package to be shipped from payment, and a month to get my package from the day I paid. I emailed RRS one working week after I had placed my order to ask if they have received the payment. They were very polite in responding and said that they will give me extra samples for taking so long to process my payment... they didn't.

No fear if you live in a country that requires custom fees on packages... RRS marks your package to be $5.

Jolse haul #1

Okay, so this was my first Jolse haul back in April (I know, I posted my third haul, then my second, my fourth, and now my first?!). I guess this is another one of those subtle introduction into the products I have used or currently own.

Ordered: 24/4/14
Shipped: 25/4/14
Arrived: 2/5/14

Sasa, Bonjour, Mannings Hong Kong sunscreen and skincare haul

So this was a from end of July/ early August. My dad went to Hong Kong for business and he asked me what I wanted him to get me. I replied with 'Socks and lollies.' Then I wrote down a list of stuff I wanted which he passed onto his high school friend's daughter (who is also my friend who is a few years older than me) to get! I was really excited because this stuff is expensive in Sydney T_T

My friend got most of these from Sasa, Bonjour, and Mannings. She gave me the receipt but I just chucked it in a box somewhere after adding up the prices. Be sure to shop around in HK. Even different branches of the same store (I'm looking at you Sasa) have different prices. You can easily get ripped off.

Testerkorea haul and review #2 (Nature Republic EXO Standees, masks, photobook|| O HUI, Laneige edition)

*Sigh* I actually wrote this on 4th of September and it got deleted! The entire thing. Here is my review again that I managed to salvage as an image that I lovingly retyped -_-

This haul was from a while ago, so these are my thoughts on the old site, before Testerkorea had a total site overhaul in June, 2014. I have not ordered from them since. Unfortunately, my second shopping experience was not as fantastic as my first one, but it was still great service!

Order Timeline

Email for manual order: 11/02/14
Confirmation of order: 12/02/14
Payment sent: 12/02/14
Payment confirmed: 20/02/14
Items shipped: 25/02/14
Arrived: 04/3/14

As you can see, the order process was a pain. It took around a week and a half for everything to be shipped. The package arrived surprisingly quickly through standard shipping though (four working days)!

Oh, so many foam pieces!
